Hello. I am a Japanese Artist based in London.
My works are collages with using printed image mainly from magazines and books. I only use scissors, a knife, and glue for my creation. I cut out pictures and collect them whenever I find images that talk to me and so that many of them are still waiting in my drawers for the right moment.
My inspiration comes from the idea of life and death in connection with everyday life. I feel indescribable joy when I imagine the world before I was born, but I fear to imagine the world after death and the idea of losing the body of myself.
I create my stories and use my pieces to visualize my imaginary world. My creation is the process to plant the seeds of joy inside of me and overcome the fear of death.
